管理层短视主义对企业新质生产力的影响——基于上市公司的数据

基于2015—2023年沪深A股上市公司的公开数据,以实证方式考察管理层短视主义对企业新质生产力的影响。研究结果表明,管理层短视主义显著降低了企业的新质生产力水平,并且两者关系在小规模企业、高科技行业以及业绩下滑的企业中更为显著。机制分析结果显示,这一影响可能通过减少人工智能投入和忽视社会责任履行两种途径实现。

Abstract:

Based on the public data of Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies from 2015 to 2023, this paper empirically examines the impact of management short-termism on the new-quality productivity of enterprises. The research indicates that management short-termism significantly reduces the level of new-quality productivity of enterprises, and the relationship between the two is more significant in small-scale enterprises, high-tech industries, or enterprises with declining performance. The results of the mechanism analysis show that this influence may be realized through two approaches: reducing investment in artificial intelligence and neglecting the fulfillment of social responsibilities.
